    The year 2022 has arrived, which means our calendars will be quite hectic as a result of the several BL Series releases planned for this year. This list has been dominated by Thai and Taiwanese BL's for the past couple of years, but this time it will be packed with BL's from all over the world! In this blog, we'll go through some of the confirmed BL Series for 2022, as well as what to expect from them. Before we begin, which BL Series are you most looking forward to seeing in 2022? #1. ENCHANTE

    This BL was scheduled to be released last year, but due to filming problems, it was pushed back to this year. There's no word on when this BL will premiere, but if it's the replacement for Bad Buddy, it might premiere on January 28. I'm still looking forward to this BL because of how intriguing the teaser narrative is, and I'm hoping it will arrive sooner rather than later.

#2. YOU'RE MY SKY

    You're My Sky will premiere on the Viki platform on January 8th, just as I mentioned in my last blog. Although it is another BL series with a university premise, the inclusion of a sports genre makes it unique and fascinating. I only hope that the storyline does credit to the premise as well.

#3. COLOR RUSH 2

    Following the popularity of the first season, this Korean BL makes a reappearance in early 2022. Although one of the major characters will not return for the second season, another male lead will undoubtedly capture our hearts once it airs. There are also reports that Color Rush 2 will be more of a bromance than a BL. Color Rush 2 will premiere on Viki on January 21.

#4. LOVE STAGE

    The Thai rendition of Love Stage stars Kaownah and Turbo as the main characters. I haven't watched the Japanese live-action adaptation of this BL yet, but it appears to be a good one. The first episode of Love Stage will premiere on January 29.

#5. SOMETHING IN MY ROOM

    If you like He's Coming To Me, I'm sure you'll enjoy this BL as well because the plots are quite similar. One of the key characters in this BL comes from Oxygen The Series, and I believe the new pair would work well in this program as well. On January 19, Something In My Room will be released.

#6. ABSOLUTE BL

    The first season's finale didn't completely please me since I was hoping to see the main character fall in love with his partner, but that didn't happen. Thankfully, Absolute BL is returning for a second season, and this show will undoubtedly make us chuckle. Season 2 of Absolute BL will premiere in March 2022.

#7. 49 DAYS WITH A MERMAN

    First and foremost, this series is described as a bromance show rather than a full-fledged BL. Despite the fact that it's a bromance, the intriguing narrative entices some fans to try something new. The film 49 Days With A Merman will be released on February 6th.

#8. TO MY STAR 2

    The first season was a fan favorite, and fans are eagerly looking forward to the second season this year. To My Star was one of my Top 10 BL Series of 2021, and it deserved to be there since it was so wonderful. It's currently unclear when this BL will be released, but we might hear anything soon.

#9. IN YOUR HEART

    Due to broadcast media troubles, this BL was meant to come out later in January, but it will air in February of this year. Despite the fact that it is considered a Chinese BL, In Your Heart will not air in mainland China in order to avoid being banned like previous Chinese BLs in the past.

#10. KEI X YAKU

    This Japanese drama is based on the manga series of the same name. If you like Manner Of Death, this drama has a narrative that is comparable to it, according to the summary. Kei X Yaku's status as a BL or a bromance program is yet uncertain, but I'm rooting for the former because this will undoubtedly be unique. On January 13, Kei X Yaku will premiere.

#11. NEVER LET ME GO

    Never Let Me Go is one of GMMTV's forthcoming BL programs for 2022, and its trailer screams excellent quality. Never Let Me Go is a different genre and drama loaded with action sequences than Pond and Phuwin's debut BL series from last year. I only hope that the filming goes smoothly and that there will be no postponements this year.

#12. VICE VERSA

    Vice Versa is one of my favorite anticipated BL Series for 2022. This drama would be interesting not just because Jimmy, Ohm, and Nanon would be in it, but also because of the other world narrative. We've had a lot of odd stories in a BL during the last few of years, but this is one of the most intriguing I've heard this year. I'm hoping that this BL arrives much sooner than predicted.

#13. YOU ARE MY FAVORITE

    You Are My Favorite is another fantastic upcoming BL series for 2022. This BL has Krist and Mike as a couple, and it was a pleasant surprise. Aside from the main characters who completely captivated me, the idea of time travel excites and intrigues me as to how it will be merged into a BL and how the series will end. This BL is expected to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2022.

#14. MOONLIGHT CHICKEN

    This BL will reunite our beloved characters Earth and Mix, but the narrative will be considerably more drama-oriented than the last one. Their characteristics are also very different from those in the prior project, which is a positive thing. We may assume that because this is part of the Midnight Series, there will be less episodes than a standard BL.

#15. LOVE MECHANICS

    The same-titled mini-series was published in 2020 and was the most popular of the three. Love Mechanics will be remade, but unlike the original, this time it will be a full-fledged series. The cast from the mini-series will be retained, and we can expect a stronger production for this show.

#16. CUTIE PIE

    Cutie Pie The Series is one of my most anticipated BLs for 2022. This series's attractive and gorgeous characters captivated me, but the plot of an arranged marriage piqued my interest the most. I'm interested in seeing how the tale unfolds and how the arranged marriage premise would be handled in a BL series.

#17. BED FRIEND

    We might guess from the trailer that Bed Friend's tale would include a lot of sensual moments. Although these kind of sequences are no longer uncommon in Thai BLs, some fans find them to be rather powerful. I'm just hoping that Bed Friend would surprise us by bringing something fresh to our table.

#18. MIDDLE MAN'S LOVE

    Jimmy and Tommy are returning as a pair for Middle Man's Love, following their stay on Peach Of Time, a Thai-Korean BL series from last year. We may anticipate Middle Man's Love to broadcast sometime in the fourth quarter of this year, since it was the final BL mentioned by the production firm.

#19. BETWEEN US

    This BL was teased for 2020, but it's already 2022, and we're still waiting. Fortunately, Studio Wabi Sabi produced Between Us Special episodes last year, reigniting our interest in the series. There is still no word on when this BL will be released, but I'm hoping it'll be soon.

#20. MY ENGINEER 2

    Following the conclusion of My Engineer in 2020, it was reported that a season 2 will be published in 2022. Season 2 will focus on the tale of Ram and King, as their relationship did not develop in the previous season, so I'm hoping for a happy conclusion this time.

#21. CHECK OUT

    This BL was meant to be released last year, but owing to the pandemic, it was postponed. Fortunately, they published a special episode to appease the people who had been waiting for it. Check Out is currently on schedule to premiere in June.

#22. SECRET CRUSH ON YOU

    The title very much sums up the narrative, which isn't always a negative thing. The acting performance and execution would play a key role in producing a high-quality tale, despite the fact that the premise is relatively straightforward. Beginning February 11, Secret Crush On You will be on the air.

#23. THE ECLIPSE

    Aside from time travel and parallel world plots, GMMTV also has The Eclipse for 2022, a school curse story with two competing guys. It's fantastic that these BLs aren't simply romantic dramas anymore, but also feature other genres.

#24. CUPID'S LAST WISH

    Later this year, another EarthMix BL Series will be released, and we're all looking forward to seeing it on our little screens. Although the narrative of Cupid's Last Wish incorporates body swapping, we must see it in action to determine whether or not it is executed well.

#25. THE MIRACLE OF TEDDY BEAR

    This BL had been reported to be coming out in 2021 since 2020, but it has now been verified that it will be published in March 2022 and will stream on Netflix. I'm looking forward to this one since it combines romance, drama, and fantasy.

#26. STAR AND SKY

    This BL has two stories, each of which will describe a separate love story. This BL has a lot of fresh faces, which is great given the developing BL sector. This might just be a speculation, but it's possible that this will broadcast in March, immediately after the conclusion of Not Me.

#27. MY SCHOOL PRESIDENT

    The plot of this BL is similar to a lot of prior Thai BLs, but I'm looking forward to it. With so many new genres in the BL for 2022, it's refreshing to watch a program that's still lighthearted in comparison to others. I'm hoping this BL gets out sooner rather than later.

#28. KINNPORSCHE

    This was my most anticipated BL Series for 2021, but it was never produced. Fortunately, KinnPorsche will premiere on the IQiYi platform in April 2022. The action-packed series is still one of the most eagerly awaited by fans, so I'm hopeful it won't be further delayed.

ADDITIONAL BL SERIES

#29. CHERRY BLOSSOMS AFTER WINTER

    Hae Bom has been residing at Tae Sung's house since his parents went away. And now that he's in 12th grade, he'll be in the same class as Tae Sung, which will make things much more difficult. Tae Sung and Hae Bom's relationship is destined to evolve as they live together 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

#30. FIRST LOVE AGAIN

    The drama follows Yeon Seok, a successful web author who remembers his past and meets his first love, Ha Yeon, who has reincarnated as a 25-year-old man who is the editor-in-chief of Sinb Books, in his third incarnation.

#33. SEMANTIC ERROR

    Chu Sang Woo, a computer science major, exemplifies a rigid and rule-abiding personality. Sang Woo makes the reasonable decision to delete freeloaders' names from the final presentation while working on a liberal arts group project with them. But he had no idea how attached he'd been with the guy whose study-abroad aspirations had been jeopardized as a result of the initiative. The individual implicated is Jang Jae Young, a well-known campus figure from the Department of Design. Except for Chu Sang Woo, he has everything: talents, appearance, a solid family background, and good relationships. What happens when an engineer and an artist with opposing personalities are forced to collaborate? In Chu Sang Woo's perfect world, Jang Jae Young is a semantic blunder. Sang Woo, will you be able to debug this?

Only, when she turns out to be a guy named 'Salbyul,' things will not be as they appear, and love will grow between Hye Seong and Geum Seong like a flower on a beautiful spring day.

    A kid named after god was cursed hundreds of years ago. He discovers his love in the shape of a guy, an employee of his firm, after four reincarnations! They will die if they do not date!

#36. FOLLOW THE WIND

    Follow Ba Ram and Han Tae as they deal with an event that occurred during their school years. Will Ba Ram be able to ignore his affections for Han Tae now that they are adults?

#37. BOARDING HOUSE NO. 5

    The plot follows Sulwon as he assumes ownership of his parents' apartment and the eccentric tenants that reside there, as well as his romance with one of them.

#38. BLUEMING

    Siwon Cha is well-liked by the public everywhere he travels. Siwon's younger sister used to taunt him about how unattractive he was. Siwon has worked hard since then to improve his appearance, and he has succeeded. Siwon knew he would be the most popular person on campus now that he was at college. However, there is a boy named Daun Hyeong who has a flawless appearance, always receives straight A's, hails from a wealthy family, and even has a terrific demeanor.

#39. RAINBOW PRINCE

    Rainbow Prince is a musical boys' love (BL) series from the Philippines. It tells the narrative of Prince Zeyn, a daring young prince who is destined for a life of adventure, soul searching, and true love. His voyage takes him to amazing places, new relationships, and the most difficult decision of his life: choose between his heart and his duty as the future king of Zurbania. Prince Zeyn must distinguish between fact and imagination. Is it more vital for him to control a country or to follow his own heart's desires? Will he be able to find a middle ground or will he be compelled to make a final decision?

#40. LOVE AREA PART 2

    "Love Area The Series" returns for a second season.

#41. PHYSICAL THERAPY

    Two hearts are brought together by a bodily ailment. Follow the journey of a young guy and his physical therapist as they work together to heal and transform each other's anguish into love.

#42. MY RIDE

    Mork and Tawan, a motorbike taxi driver and a medical resident in a Bangkok hospital, tell their experience. While they appear to originate from separate planets, they happen to cross paths one day when Tawan employs Mork to drive him across town. This initial trip leads to many, and Mork quickly finds himself unable to stop thinking about the dashing doctor. Meanwhile, Tawan is drawn to Mork, and the two form an odd bond. Is it possible that it will lead to more?

#43. RESTARTED

    A significant shift will send them back to square one. This is a romantic comedy series that will make you laugh, weep, and feel good.

    The film follows Kinn and his two buddies while they holiday in Northern Thailand. Kinn's phone, however, is shattered, and their plans are disrupted, forcing them to meet North. Kinn asked him to be their tour guide since he was born and raised in this area and knows everything there is to know about it. Will they be able to carry this voyage in their hearts?

#46. CLOSE FRIEND SEASON 2

    VIU and BOX Music teamed together after the success of Season 1's Close Friend. Don't make the supporters wait an inordinate amount of time. Please stay a while. We'll be returning in Season 2 soon. Soon to be released!

    Because several BLs do not have a precise release date, this list will undoubtedly expand in size as 2022 progresses (yet).
