The Top 10 BL Series to Watch in 2022

    The second quarter of the year has only just begun, yet there have already been a slew of lovely BLs released, with more on the way. The year 2022 is known as the Year of BL because it has the most diversified narrative and production. In this blog, I'll discuss my top ten suggested BL series for 2022, as well as why these ten are my current favorites. Keep in mind that some of these BLs are still ongoing, but they have already distinguished themselves from the others. Which of the BL series would you suggest to others? #1. Blueming

    It's been out for two weeks now, but I've just seen the first episode. Whether you like it or not, there's something about it that makes it feel more natural than other Korean BLs I've watched. It may be shorter than 15 minutes every episode, as several Korean BLs have been in the past, but the story's rhythm is superior in my opinion. I just got to view the first episode to check it out, but the characters and premise had already piqued my interest. #2. Semantic Error

    Due to the large number of BLs released in only one quarter, 2022 may be the finest year for lovers of Korean BLs. Because of the connection between the main characters, Semantic Error is one of my favorite BLs in 2022. The plot may have been simple, but it drew a lot of attention, and its fans were able to follow it effortlessly. Despite the fact that Semantic Error finished the first season on a pleasant note, I'm still hopeful for a second season, albeit it may take some time. Apple TV, Viki, and GaGaOOLala all have Semantic Error available to watch.

#3. Cupid's Last Wish

    Although the premise of this series is not new to BL viewers, it is nevertheless intriguing to see how they will twist the story for the show's main characters. Cupid's Last Wish is EarthMix's follow-up to their hugely successful prior effort A Tale Of Thousand Stars. Cupid's Last Wish is more of a friends to enemies to loves serial than other BLs, which are more plain enemies to lovers. I appreciate the characters' chemistry, albeit I'm a little concerned because of the body-swap narrative. Overall, you'll be looking forward to the conclusion of this series. #4. Cutie Pie

    I've been watching this series for over two months and it's still one of my favorites for 2022 due to the general light narrative. There may be challenges with being honest or having plain communication between two main characters, but the focus is on the individuals' secret characteristics. Anyway, I think the series is going in the correct path because of the major characters' growth, but I'm hopeful that the supporting characters will grow as well. #5. Cherry Blossoms After Winter

    This series is more like a traditional Korean BL from the past, but it's still a lot of fun to watch. Although Cherry Blossoms After Winter is a school-based BL, the main characters' chemistry was hardly child's play. It's difficult to top Semantic Error's success, and while this series may not be on par in terms of narrative, this BL held its own and is readily recommendable to other fans. This BL's ending was shown to me, and the major characters received a happy ending. Viki and WeTV both have Cherry Blossoms After Winter available to view.

#6. The Miracle of Teddy Bear

    This series is on its eighth episode, but I'm still on the first. Because there have been so many continuing BLs recently, I intended to binge watch this series once it finished airing, but since so many people have recommended it to me, I couldn't resist seeing it for myself. Although this series is lengthier than the others on this list, it did not tire me while watching it. Because this is a fantasy series, I can see the storyline twisting a little more towards the conclusion while gradually increasing the tension. On Netflix, you can watch The Miracle Of Teddy Bear.

#7. Dear Doctor

    The story of the doctor and the soul reaper is a great addition to our list since it gives your watch list some variety. This series may not be the most well-known, but it brings something different to the table in terms of narrative and characters. Every week, I attentively watch this BL in order to determine whether the narrative has a progressive tale or not. The story's level remained maintained throughout the first four episodes that I watched, but I'm hoping for further growth in future episodes. #8. You're My Sky

    At first, I assumed it would be similar to other Thai BLs I'd watched in the past, but it really exceeded my expectations. This BL wasn't the finest of the bunch, but it did have a solid story. One of the reasons this BL wasn't as successful as the others might be because the characters were all new to the viewers. The three couples' chemistry was also outstanding, albeit their levels weren't equal throughout the series, but this wasn't a huge concern. You can watch You're My Sky on Viki, WeTV, and YouTube.

#9. Not Me

    GMMTV's Not Me is one of the greatest shows I've watched this year. This show is a masterpiece in my opinion, and it will take a long time for GMMTV to match it in terms of narrative and production. Not Me is my second favorite BL series for 2022, and I believe it's because of my emotional connection to the characters. The finale, which was more of an open ending, may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it still offered a fantastic narrative. You can watch Not Me on YouTube and iWant TFC.

#10. KinnPorsche

    This is by far my favorite series of the year, and it is without a doubt one of the best-produced BLs ever. KinnPorsche has only been on the air for two episodes, yet it has already managed to grab my heart and entire attention. The cast of characters is incredibly diverse, and the plot still has something to offer. For the time being, I'll save my opinions and write a review until I've finished the series, but it's presently the greatest BL to watch. On iQiYi, you may watch KinnPorsche.

    The year 2022 is shaping up to be the finest for BLs yet, and it's only the beginning.
