 2022's Sweetest and Cutest BL Couples

    I'm quite sure we all have favorite BL couples that we always love to see after watching so many BL series this year. Whatever genre it is, we can feel these characters' true affection for one another. In this blog, I'll share with you my top eight favorite BL couples for 2022, and I'd want to see them together again in future series. In the comments box below, you may also submit your favorite BL couples. Let's get straight into the blog without further ado.

Nut & Tofu

The Miracle of Teddy Bear

 

    Because of Tofu's secret persona, the two began as chaotic strangers, but it quickly grew stronger in comparison to the others on this list. Although Nut and Tofu aren't the loveliest couple we've ever seen in a BL, they did enjoy a real connection and a strong bond in the first half of the series. Round and flat characters are best represented by Nut and Tofu, respectively. Because of Tofu's anger issues, I couldn't imagine Nut having a relationship with him at first, but as the series progressed, I realized where he was coming from. Because of how forgiving Tofu was as a human, there were moments when I wished he would simply be unreasonable. Because of the issues in their environment, I've always encouraged them to focus on themselves as a couple, but it's not easy for them to be happy because of the challenges they've had to deal with. It's a bad we only got to enjoy their joyful times together for such a short time, but at least they were memorable. Their relationship may not have ended the way we hoped, but we all know that their love for one another will live on forever in their hearts.

Kinn & Porsche

KinnPorsche

 

    This BL couple isn't the sweetest, but they have a unique love story that we don't see in other BLs. KinnPorsche is not about nice and loving situations, but about the polar opposite. Since we're still in Episode 6, Kinn and Porsche's difficult connection is seen in their behaviors and might lead to friendship, despite the fact that their relationship is more like a boss-servant one. They aren't the kindest or cutest BL couple, but I've always been intrigued by the ending of their love story set against the backdrop of their tumultuous life and unknown enemies. This duo's chemistry with one another, despite the fact that they are not yet a relationship, is something I genuinely like. Aside from the action sequences, I'm expecting to witness a lot of their happy moments together.

Khluen & Dao

Star In My Mind

 

    Khluen and Dao from Star In My Mind are one of my favorite couples on this list simply because they look beautiful together. Aside from that, their story is truly relevant because it is a University-themed series, and most couples experience their first love during their college years, like the main characters of Star In My Mind did. Until the halfway point of the story, this series had a light plot and a not overly intricate love story. The core of their predicament is based on their misunderstandings and ineffective fights with one another. Fortunately, the plot does not become any more complicated, focusing solely on their characters. With only two episodes left, the show's sweetest and cutest moments will soon be revealed.

Korn & Win

Cupid's Last Wish

 

    Although a body exchange narrative and an adventure story are not my preferences, Korn and Win made Cupid's Last Wish into a series that I like. Their relationship began off well, then Win lost trust in Korn because of a certain issue, and their relationship deteriorated. Fortunately, because Win has a different body, their relationship will have a second chance to be rebuilt. Their excursion may help to heal their strained friendship and provide an outlet for their affections for one another. The first few episodes may not feature the most romantic sequences, but they improve over time. Apart from all of these factors, Earth and Mix performed an outstanding job depicting their characters, which is more than enough for me to like this series.

Lian & Kuea

Cutie Pie

 

    This couple may be my least favorite of the bunch, but I can safely say that I adore them. Despite the fact that this couple has challenges such as misreading one other's personalities, it's all motivated by the narrative they have for their characters. In front of Lian, Kuea is designed as a person with a distinct personality, whereas Lian is designed as a perfect and cold person. Aside from that, I view their characters as people who are afraid to reveal their weaknesses in front of their significant other. They, like some of us in real life, were always striving to be as flawless as possible. Almost every episode has sweet moments, which adds to the flavor of their love journey. Anyway, I'm thoroughly enjoying this series.

Jae Young & Sang Woo

Semantic Error

 

    Semantic Error is my favorite Korean BL so far for 2022, and that series made me feel loved only by its scenes. Jae Young and Sang Woo had one of the greatest chemistry in the industry, which helped to keep their series engaging for the audience. Despite the fact that their friendship didn't start off well, that circumstance drew them closer in later moments and allowed them to date. I've been wishing for a season 2 of this series with the same main cast since the series ended. I adored them as a couple, and this is undoubtedly one of the finest love stories ever told.

Tae Sung & Hae Bom

Cherry Blossoms After Winter

 

    After Semantic Error, this was the next Korean BL I saw, and it was an instant hit for me. Despite the fact that Semantic Error raised the standard for Korean BLs, Cherry Blossoms After Winter was a fun series to watch with a likable cast. Even though they didn't get along at first, Tae Sung and Hae Bom enjoyed a lot of nice and charming moments, and I loved their relationship. The two may appear to be reserved individuals who are scared to show their emotions, yet their love for one another is greater than their anxieties.

Sean & White 

Not Me

 

    I've always like OffGun's shows, and Not Me is my personal fave. Their roles are more mature in this project than in their other projects. Sean and White's love story had a unique taste, and I was surprised by how delighted I was despite their enemies. I like Dan and Yok as a couple, but the finale left a sour taste in my mouth. The couple's dire circumstances made it tough for them to express themselves with one another, yet they still managed to give us some nice sequences.
