    We've had a fantastic list of BL series over the previous three years, and we can't wait for more. Let's go back in time and look at some of the most popular BLs from previous years that we may binge watch while we wait for the next generation. This list's rating is based on the most popular tab on the MyDramaList website. If your favorite BLs were not included in this list, please leave a comment below with your own ranking. #10. WE BEST LOVE: NO. 1 FOR YOU

    We Best Love: No. 1 For You is one of the best and most successful BLs produced earlier this year. Although brief in comparison to other worldwide BL series, this Taiwanese BL serves distinctiveness with its narrative while incorporating the customary university surroundings. We Best Love: No. 1 For You is undoubtedly one of my faves from this year, and I'm confident that this BL will grow in popularity as time passes. We Best Love: No. 1 For You was only published in 2021, thus it's understandable that it would be lower on our list, even if it deserves to be higher.

    The premise of this Korean BL was excellent, but I believe the overall execution of the narrative fell short in comparison to other studio releases. Nonetheless, Color Rush is one of the most popular BL series to have been published in 2020, and I believe this demonstrates that viewers want to see a variety of plots in the material they consume. Season 2 is rumored to be in the works and would be published sometime in 2022, owing to its popularity and the fact that its finale left us wanting more from the plot.

    This Thai BL was just launched in 2020, yet it was already well-received due to its stellar cast, and it got much more well-received when the global epidemic struck. Why R U? wasn't the finest in terms of storyline, but it did have a lot of interesting plot twists. From the beginning to the conclusion, the difference between the major characters made it a more pleasurable experience to watch. Despite the fact that the pandemic's cause helped it gain even more popularity, various narratives in Why R U? suffered as a result of the country's lockdowns.

    Before Manner of Death, there was HIStory 3: Trapped, which blended the action and romance genres into one, and it was a hit. Despite the fact that I am not a huge fan of the action genre, HIStory 3: Trapped has won me over. Because this Taiwanese BL is now available on YouTube, it is now more accessible to foreign admirers who have yet to view this masterpiece.

    Theory of Love is no exception, since it is a GMMTV-produced BL series that is destined to become considerably more popular than those from other producers. Although the narrative was not the finest, Theory of Love is one of my favorites from the 2019 roster of BLs. Theory of Love, although being a successful BL series, has received a lot of backlash from fans owing to Khai's poisonous behavior in Third. In response, many of these events occur in real life, and there's nothing wrong with depicting them unless they're idealized. Nonetheless, if you haven't seen Theory of Love yet in 2021, you should do so.

#5. WHERE YOUR EYES LINGER

    It is by far the most popular Korean BL to date, despite the fact that it was only launched in 2020. Because of its unusual premise, Where Your Eyes Linger gave other plays a run for their money last year. Despite the fact that this BL was so brief in terms of both episodes and length, it inspired other firms to create their own set of unique BL storylines. I'm still waiting for a second season of this BL to continue the tale of the main characters, even though it's been almost a year since it was published.

#4. LOVE BY CHANCE

    This Thai BL was launched in 2018, however it remains one of the most popular BLs from the previous three years. Because of the fans' interest in the show's main characters, Love By Chance's popularity rose to the top in 2018. Although Love By Chance was not the best overall, it did leave an impression on viewers when it first aired, which is why A Chance To Love failed to do the same last year.

#3. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

    Until We Meet Again was one of the most anticipated BL series of 2019, and it deserved all of the attention it received when it was published. Until We Meet Again is still an intriguing BL series for new fans who have lately found the BL World, despite the fact that it is nearly two years old. Aside from the superb acting skills of the major casts, one of this show's strengths is its reincarnation narrative. Although some sections of this BL are a little draggy at times, the overall production is still in a league of its own when compared to other BL programs. If I had to choose, I'd say this is one of the top three best BL dramas of 2019.

#2. THARNTYPE

    This Thai BL was initially considered an afterthought when compared to other 2019 releases, but TharnType outperformed them all and became the year's most popular BL series. Despite its popularity, many critics have stated their opinions on some of the plot's faults and how they should be solved. I didn't care for the romanticization of non-consent moments in the series, but other from that, TharnType is a fantastic show. The main characters' chemistry is something I didn't expect when it first aired, and they did an excellent job depicting their personalities throughout the season.

    It's no surprise that 2gether The Series has outperformed everything else on this list in terms of popularity, and I believe there are a variety of reasons why it has been the most popular for the past three years. First and foremost, Bright and Win are both attractive performers who attracted a large number of new admirers when the series first aired. Next, the first few episodes of 2gether were actually rather enjoyable, albeit this was not the case in the latter episodes. Third, the epidemic aided many people in discovering new shows, 2gether being one among them. 2gether The Series may not be the finest BL in the world, but one thing is certain: it is adored by many.
