SPOILER FOR EPISODE 12 OF THE BAD BUDDY SERIES
SPOILER FOR EPISODE 12 OF THE BAD BUDDY SERIES
Except for the closing scene, Episode 11 is well known among Thai BLs as the cursed episode. However, this did not occur in Bad Buddy The Series. This episode is full of nice and wonderful moments, but it also has some realizations about their true relationship condition. Bad Buddy began as a lighthearted narrative, but the build-up was flawless, and we weren't bombarded with too much information in a single episode. In this blog, I'll share my own views and emotions to the most recent episode, as well as how the Pat and Pran tale concluded in the novel. What do you think will happen to Pat and Pran's relationship in the closing episode, which airs next week? Tell us what you think in the comments section below. Let's get started without further ado.
My Opinions on Episode 11
Because the preview didn't reveal much about what would happen in this episode, I was quite interested to see what would happen. However, due of the times Pat and Pran enjoyed together, it turned out to be one of the greatest episodes. I was overjoyed when they were finally able to enjoy one other's company without being interrupted by their friends or family. They got to see what it might be like to live together if their families were friends rather than arch adversaries. I really liked how they were reliant on one another, demonstrating that they trust and support one another. Even though Pran missed his mother and wanted to contact her, he decided to remain with Pat and fight for their love, even if it was just for a few days. Despite the fact that Pat and Pran had known each other for a long time, Episode 11 still included a sequence in which they asked questions to get to know one another better, which I believe was crucial for the eventual development of their personalities. After all, they never really got to ask such questions as adversaries because they were too preoccupied with disguising their friendship from their friends and their parents. Aside from Episode 5, Episode 11 also delivered a kiss, but this time there were no questions in their hearts, simply reinforcement of their affections. Overall, this has to be one of the finest episodes of Bad Buddy, and I can confidently state that it is the best Episode 11 of any Thai BL Series to date.
Village with Zero Waste
We didn't anticipate the "Zero-Waste Village" to play such a significant role in the growth of Pat and Pran's relationship when we first saw it in Episode 6. I always thought that the episode where the characters leave their campuses was merely a filler episode to allow the characters some screen time to get to know each other in practically every Thai BL series. In Bad Buddy, however, this was not the case. The notion was utilized to improve Pat and Pran's connection as well as to help them grow as individuals. I also admire the project's message, which said that while Tong's acts may not be enough to alter the world, he would not give up simply because the world wants him to. The message was subtle, but it was more appropriate for Pat and Pran's relationship. Even though the world they live in encourages people to despise one another, they should always listen to their emotions. Their decision may not be popular, but it is acceptable as long as it is acceptable to their hearts.
Pran misses his mother.
Pran would prefer his parents over everything else, as those who have read the novel version of Bad Buddy would already know. When Pat wanted to just run away from their family in the novel, Pran advised them to consider the repercussions of their choices first. Despite the fact that it did not happen in this episode, it was indicated at one time that Pran still intended to follow his mother's commands. Unlike the series, Pran's mother did not play a big part in the novel. Pran's father was the one who told him what to do and sent him to England to continue his education. When they returned to their families after spending time together, they would already know that they should do what their parents say.
In the novel, how PatPran's tale ended
Those who have been following Bad Buddy spoiler blogs since Episode 2 will already be aware that the novel is very different from the series. Many adjustments were made, and the tone of the series was lightened as a result. I'm sure the novel version of Pat and Pran would be envious of them if they watched the series version. Pat and Pran went through a lot more in the tale, and it was heartbreaking to read. If you've seen the trailer for Episode 12, you'll know that Pat and Pran are going to break up and be gone for a long time. Pat and Pran split up in the novel because Pran did not want to leave his parents to run away with Pat. Pat and Pran had just fulfilled their parents' wishes for them because of what had transpired that day. Pran was transferred to England to pursue his education, while Pat's parents compelled him to engage with a boyhood buddy. Pat had finished his studies and was already working on their family firm five months later. Pat began as a secretary for his father in order for him to understand the flow of work, but subsequently, he was pushed by his father to take over a project with which they were having difficulties. Pat resorted to talking with Pran's father about forming a joint venture with their firm because the factory couldn't meet their demand. Pat's maturity impressed Pran's father in comparison to the previous time he saw him. Pat's father was upset when he found out what his son had done. Pat, on the other hand, said that he did it only for the benefit of the corporation that his father inherited from Pat's grandfather. After a lot of squabbling, his father agreed to form a joint venture with Pran's father's firm. Pran's father ultimately agreed to let Pat have a contact with his son after seeing how dedicated he was to his career and how mature he had become. Pran's father also remarked that because Pran's engagement was already canceled, he might accompany him to England to visit him and carry Pran's father's word that he already missed him. Pat traveled to England to see his sweetheart, and the two spent a few of days together. Pat wanted Pran to finish his studies before they returned to Thailand so they could be together again. Pat is already the leader of their family firm a year later, with his father serving as his consultant. After completing many projects at the same time, their company's joint venture with Pran's father is also a success. Pran further surprised Pat by inviting him to a business dinner, claiming that the meeting was scheduled by Pran's father. Finally, they are both content knowing that they have each other's backs.
In comparison to the series, the novel's final sections are much more matured, and I much like it. Pat demonstrates in the end that his love for Pran isn't simply a stage of a young guy falling in love with someone of the same gender, but a real affection that is free of prejudice. Whether it's in the form of a series or a novel, Pat and Pran's love story is very wonderful. Thank you so much for reading this series of posts with me! Until the next time, take care.
