 In January 2022, there are 16 BL series to keep an eye on.

    Just before the year 2021 came to a conclusion, certain BL Series began airing that you might enjoy, as well as some BL Series that will begin showing later this month. With the start of the new year, we may expect a slew of BLs to be published and announced on various platforms later this year. This blog will have an updated list of now airing and forthcoming BL Series for the month of January 2022. #1. Mr. Cinderella

    The first episode of this Vietnamese BL aired in November of 2021. It's a pity I haven't watched this yet because it's getting a lot of buzz because it's set in a different nation, features fresh performers, and has a fascinating plot. Mr. Cinderella not only has romance in it, but it also has some action moments to keep the program interesting. Mr. Cinderella may be seen on the YouTube channel of O2 Productions.

#2. Bad Buddy

    Due to the holiday season, Episode 10 was postponed last Friday, but it will return with a bang on January 7th, 2022. Every Friday, Bad Buddy has been the #1 trending subject, and I can say that it deserves all of the accolades it receives for how excellent it is. The plot may be simple, but with a good production, a great director, and incredible acting and chemistry between the main characters, it definitely hit the mark in the hearts of all BL fans. Bad Buddy is available on GMMTV's YouTube channel and, in some regions, on WeTV.

#3. Behind Cut

    This Korean BL premiered on Viki and BiliBili platforms on December 28. Although it seemed like the same old Korean BL's from the previous two years, it's a welcome addition to the BL Series lineup for January. It's unfortunate that the episode is just 15 minutes long, and we already know that this isn't enough time to present a solid tale. As of right now, the reactions to this BL are varied, but we'll see as the series concludes.

#4. Gen Y Season Two

    The first season of Gen Y premiered in November 2020, and a second season was published on December 21 of the last year. I haven't seen both seasons owing to personal tastes, but some people are loving it because of the love triangle tale of several characters and the presence of some cast members from 2 Moons. Season 2 of Gen Y is now accessible on the IQiYi platform.

#5. Not Me

    With only three episodes now on air, this Thai BL was only aired on December 12th, and fans are already adoring it. The unusual concept and storyline, as well as the dramatic performances of the characters, are undoubtedly some of the reasons for its popularity. Initially, it was stated that Not Me will have just 8 episodes, however it has now been revealed that the series would have 14 episodes and will premiere until March of this year. I'm confident that as the story progresses, the plot will get more chaotic and dramatic. GMMTV has a YouTube channel where you can watch Not Me.

#6. Paint With Love

    This BL began broadcasting on November 26 and has now produced six episodes. Tae and Singto make for an unexpected BL pairing, but we're not complaining. The two performers have fantastic chemistry, and we can see how well-developed their characters are in this series. This BL's interaction between a worker and an employer plot is also unusual for a BL. GagaOOLala is where you may watch Paint With Love.

#7. Tinted With You

    We already had our first Korean BL with a historical drama last year entitled Nobleman Ryu's Wedding. Although the tale was a little uninteresting in comparison to other Korean BLs at the time, it was one method to branch out from the pack. This time, Tinted With You will be the second Korean BL to have a historical tale with a touch of fantasy. Viki is where you can view Tinted With You.

#8. Color Rush Season Two

    Color Rush was one of my favorite BL releases from last year, despite falling short of other BL releases at the time. Unfortunately, Yoo Han will not return in Color Rush Season 2, and our mono will have a new partner this time. We won't know what influence it will have on the present plot until it is released on January 21. Season 2 of Color Rush will be accessible on Viki.

#9. First Love Again

    Another Korean BL Series set for release this month has been added to our monthly watch list, with each episode lasting roughly 30 minutes. The previous Korean BL with the similar run duration was Light On Me, albeit First Love Again will only have six episodes in total. The release date for First Love Again is set on January 30, however international fans will have to wait for more information regarding the official platform.

#10. In You Heart

    It's surprising to see this on our list because most Chinese BLs are bromance stories, but In Your Heart appears to be a full-fledged BL Series. In any case, the story centres on two childhood sweethearts who have deep feelings for each other. In Your Heart is set to premiere in January 2022, however foreign fans may want to wait until it is officially released.

#11. You're My Sky

    With the publication of You're My Sky, the school romance plus sports genre is gaining a lot of traction. In my perspective, the trailer seems nice, and I can tell that the performers have a lot of promise. Although the narrative isn't very unusual in and of itself, it all boils down to the series' direction and the actors' performances in each scene. You're My Sky will premiere on WeTV on January 8.

#12. Love Area Part Two

    If you enjoyed the first season of Love Area, Love Area Part 2 will likely be a must-see in 2022. I haven't seen season 1 yet because I've been watching a lot of BL Series recently, but if you're the sort of fan that watches everything, this one could be for you. GagaOOLala will premiere Love Area Part 2 on January 16.

#13. Physical Therapy

    Another Thai BL will air later this month on our tiny screens, but this time it will include medical professionals and an adorable patient. I'm not sure what to anticipate from this drama, but it's really rather intriguing given that the most, if not all, of the characters are new to me. Physical Therapy will be available to view on GagaOOLala starting January 23.

#14. Restart(ed)

    This is another Thai BL Series in the romantic comedy genre. When I first watched the trailer for this BL, I thought it was amusing, especially when it introduced the series' characters. I'm not expecting much from this BL, but I'm hoping it will offer something unique to the table. On January 30, Restarted will be released.

#15. My Ride

    This Thai BL was supposed to be released in November of 2020, but it's already been over a year and we're still waiting. Many people who have read the novel version have said that it was a smash, and the series might be a hit if done well. My Ride is set to be released on January 25th.

#16. Love Stage

    Love Stage has already been adapted into a Japanese film, but this time it will be a Thai BL series. Some individuals believe that some moments should be modified due to their problematic nature, and that we should just wait and see. Love Stage will premiere on January 29, but no foreign release date has been set.

    Even though it is just the first month of the year, we already have a lot of BL Series, both continuing and incoming.
