 Thailand's Upcoming BL's in 2022

    There are a number of forthcoming BL Series that will be launched in 2022, but I am always excited for the Thai BL releases. It's easy to become excited about new Thai BLs because of their cast, but we need also think on the performance, narrative and storyline, post-production, and so many more. In this blog, I'll rate some of the future Thai BLs that will undoubtedly be on my radar, as well as provide some story details. In 2022, which Thai BLs are you most looking forward to seeing? Let's get straight into the blog without further ado.

#10. The Eclipse

    Some may claim that this BL is just another university-themed series, but I suppose the narrative is more important than the setting. The teaser did not provide much information because the story's theme is primarily mystery, which I enjoy. The pairing of First and Khaotung is surprising, and it's fantastic to watch them in different roles with different actors. The fact that The Eclipse is only ranked tenth is most likely owing to my aversion to mystery romances. Well, it's too early to pass judgment on the entire premise of this BL because, according to what I've read, the plot is also built on two opposing beliefs at their institution. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing how the romantic tale interacts with the mystery concept.

#9. Cupid's Last Wish

    I adore EarthMix's earlier work, "A Tale Of Thousand Stars," and I believe I would adore them much more in Cupid's Last Wish. Although the premise appears to be rather fascinating, with some excellent actors, I am not convinced by the body exchange plot. I'm already unclear about whether Mix is playing Win or Lin based on the trailer, so the series may be much more perplexing. In any case, the teaser's production appears to be of good quality, and GMMTV has to raise up their game even more.

#8. My School President

    You may be wondering why I placed this BL above The Eclipse and Cupid's Last Wish, despite the fact that it appears to be rather simple, similar to the original Thai BLs. That's why I gave it a better rating than the other two: it's a simple plot. When I viewed the preview for this BL, it reminded me of old Thai BLs, which made me feel nostalgic. I honestly don't recall the last time I saw a high school-themed BL, and I'm delighted we'll be getting one in 2022. I'm not expecting much from this BL, but I'm excited to see how it turns out.

#7. Moonlight Chicken

    We are really fortunate this year, since we are receiving not one, but two EarthMix BL series. This BL's subject is different from what we're used to seeing because it focuses on individuals and their lives. If I could take all of the turmoil that would ensue, the notion of cheating would also keep me back. Apart from that, the teaser says volumes, and it's great to have such a varied cast in this BL.

#6. Enchanté

    I've been waiting for this BL since last year, and it will finally come next week, although many months late. The enemies to lovers theme has always impressed us, but this time we're met with friends to loves notions, however I'm not sure if they'll end up together in this series. The trailer appears like any other GMMTV BL series with a collegiate theme, but with a more current aesthetic. Enchanté hasn't even begun yet, but I'm already shipping Theo with his pal, and I'm not backing down.

#5. Never Let Me Go

    When I initially saw the teaser, I knew I needed to keep an eye out for this BL in the near future. With all of the drama and action moments that potentially risk the main characters' lives, the plot is fairly weighty. It's great to see Pond and Phuwin in a BL with a different genre than their previous work. Some of the supporting cast members are also talented performers, which adds to my enthusiasm for the series.

#4. Cutie Pie

    I can't stop wondering about when Cutie Pie will be released since I first saw the trailer. The narrative appears to be quite intriguing, and the visuals are breathtaking. Aside from that, I'm excited to see Zee with a new partner this time, as well as their chemistry as an onscreen pair. The tale appears to be going toward a light plot with some or only minor drama in select circumstances; all I can hope for is that the entire series delivers.

#3. KinnPorsche

    Last year, this BL was my most anticipated BL Series, however it did not materialize since the release date was moved out to April 2022. I'm not a big fan of action dramas, but there's something about KinnPorsche that makes me want to see it. I'm hopeful that this won't be postponed because to the numerous teases that have been offered to us over the last few months.

#2. You Are My Favorite

    Time travel has always fascinated me, and now is the perfect time to include it into a BL Series. I didn't think we'd be receiving this type of BL in 2022, and I'm hoping it'll be fantastic. It's also unusual to have Krist and Mike partnered in this series, and I'm looking forward to seeing how well they work together on this one. In terms of narrative, I think this year's BL Series is the most diverse ever.

#1. Vice Versa

    Vice Versa is the one BL Series that has particularly caught my mind for 2022. When it comes to narrative and the traditional fantasy series, this BL truly stands out. It's the first time in a BL that the notion of going into a separate realm is introduced, which makes it both intriguing and perplexing. Apart from the narrative, I'm also looking forward to seeing OhmNanon in this BL, even if they are merely supporting characters. Even though the series hasn't begun airing yet, Sea and Jimmy look wonderful together, and I can immediately sense their connection. Vice Versa should air sooner rather than later, in my opinion.

    Aside from this, I'm excited for more Thai BLs, particularly Between Us The Series. Unfortunately, there is no trailer for Between Us yet, so we have no idea what to anticipate from the series.
