10 BL Series That Will Make You Feel Good!
We all want to avoid having stressful days, but happily, watching our favorite BL shows may help us relax. I'll be presenting with you the BL series in this blog that will make you feel wonderful and take your mind off your problems for a little while. Feel free to post your own favorite BL shows in the comment section below if you do. Let's start the blog straight now without further ado.
BAD BUDDY
If you believe that this BL is an usual story of rivals who become lovers, it's time to observe Pat and Pran's journey from rivals to friends. Pran's captivating eyes will undoubtedly captivate our souls, while Pat's charm will always win us over with his smiles. Both Pat and Pran experienced the consequences of the intense rivalry that existed between the families of the two main characters. The two families competed against one another for a considerable amount of time until Pat and Pran became tired of it and got close. Due to their intense hatred, Pat and Pran had to keep their secrets to themselves, but their friendship would soon blossom into a secret relationship. Although it's been a while since I last saw this BL, it seems like yesterday when it first began to show. How I hope this show will get a second season, but considering how it ends, it seems rather doubtful.
MY LOVE MIX-UP!
Because it has a light story and a comedy genre, this particular show is one of my favorite Japanese BLs. We are used to dramatic openings and creative character introductions, but I never imagined that a love story would begin just as a result of a misunderstanding with an eraser. Aoki has a crush on his female seatmate, but when he takes her eraser and reads the name of another student, everything falls apart for him. But to further complicate matters, the boy in question thinks Aoki has a love on him after spotting him holding an eraser with his name. This BL is a simple show with a well-narrated plot rather than one with an overly complicated one. This drama series will undoubtedly make you smile as you watch it.
HELLO, STRANGER!
When I first saw this series, it was in the year 2020, and it was a unique way to convey a BL narrative. I could feel the connection between the main characters despite the arrangement being online. I was motivated by their chemistry to watch the entire series, and I'm happy I did. The well-liked basketball player from the school participates in the online quiz bee that one of our main characters organizes and insults them. The narrative of how they went from being enemies to lovers doesn't end there. Although it isn't really that different from previous stories with the similar premise, I found the setting to be really energizing. Even now, two years later, I believe that this BL continues to make me feel wonderful anytime I want to binge watch this web series.
HE'S COMING TO ME
Although it seems ironic that a ghost story can make us feel happy, the comedic sequences are undoubtedly a wonderful counterpoint to the story's main events. Even though He's Coming To Me occasionally features dramatic situations, its aura is generally calming. One of our main characters mysteriously passed away, and he then waited on his grave for the next 20 years for someone to come around so he could be reborn. But when he finds a boy who can communicate with him and tells him that he was killed, everything will change. The two of them are good together, which is in addition to the comedy parts in this BL. Because it is so pure, it makes me feel fantastic.
SEMANTIC ERROR
I never anticipated falling in love with this BL so much when I initially saw it. One of the BLs that I enjoy watching again is Semantic Error since I think of it as my go-to BL. The main characters' chemistry is what sets this show apart from the others, and it's also one of the reasons I feel good about this series. Our main character is in difficulties since his desire of studying abroad is lost when he deletes the names of his fellow group members. Their opposite personalities establish a connection between them and lead to the development of something deeper than simply a friendship. I can only hope that a second season is created so that we can see more of our adorable couple.
CHERRY MAGIC
We've always found magic fascinating—as long as it doesn't come from the Scarlet Witch. This story has a unique premise and a light tale that make it one of my favorite fantasy-themed stories. A person is said to receive the curse of being able to read people's minds with a touch if they continue to be virgins until their 30th birthday. On his 30th birthday, one of the main characters unknowingly gains magic. He unintentionally finds that one of his coworkers has love affections for him as a result of his newfound power. Cherry Magic features both humorous and dramatic situations between the main characters to convey their complex emotions. I'm still anticipating the movie version's November 9 Blu-ray & DVD release, which will include the story's continuation.
A MAN WHO DEFIES THE WORLD OF BL
This is something you should think about watching if all you want to do is laugh nonstop and unwind. Because our main character had to live in a BL world, season 1 was a rollercoaster for her. Nothing about the main character's actions should be taken seriously because the narrative is simple. Our main character resolves to reject any hot person who approaches him after realizing that he lives a BL world. But there is no escape in every part of this world. Even if the series is brief, you'll find plenty of humor and smiles in it.
2GETHER
Even now, two years later, 2gether The Series remains one of my go-to BLs, and viewing it brings back a lot of pleasant memories. The premise of this BL is nothing new, but the main characters' journey to the conclusion is nonetheless unforgettable, at least to me. One of our main characters attempts to get our main character to go on a fake date with him after he unexpectedly develops a crush on him. However, their fake connection develops into something real that involves their past. My happy pill in 2020 and even in 2022 was 2gether The Series.
CUTIE PIE
Despite the complaints about this BL, it continues to be one of those shows that makes me feel wonderful after watching each episode. Although certain sequences might have been better, the main characters' chemistry is among the greatest I've watched this year. We haven't heard a lot of stories of forced marriages in BLs. One of our main characters wants to cancel their engagement due to a miscommunication, while the other one wants to win him over. Their lives will undoubtedly change as a result of discovering their personalities' secrets. Even though I'm not a great Cutie Pie fan, I kind of like this BL despite its flaws.
MR. UNLUCKY HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO KISS
We truly don't want to be unlucky, but in this BL, our main character is unquestionably the luckiest unfortunate man. One of the highlights of this BL is the contrast in the personalities of the two main characters, and I really liked it. I get the positive vibes for this series that I expected from the comedic and romantic sequences, and I can say that it even exceeds those expectations. Our main character, who has been unfortunate since the day he was born, will try his luck by following our main lead in the hopes that it would change his luck. Our main character, however, will become stuck in a relationship he did not anticipate due to miscommunication. Although the last episodes of this series may not be the finest, I am confident that you will fall in love with our main characters.
The quality of the BL series has been steadily rising over the last couple of years, but it wouldn't matter anything if you didn't enjoy them at all. Which BL will please you is always up to you, whether it's a comedy, romance, fantasy, action, mystery, or supernatural-themed BL. I appreciate you reading. I'll see you on the next one, then.
