2023's 8 Best BL Couples With Electrifying Chemistry!

    This year has been a fantastic year for BL Dramas, and I must say that there are many BL couples that have captured our hearts everytime they appear on-screen. In this article, we'll go over the 8 Best BL Couples with chemistry that will leave us breathless. Let's go straight into the blog, shall we?

#1. Wu Bi & Su Yu (Stay With Me)

 

    The Addicted remake "Stay With Me" has been one of the most talked-about series in the second half of 2023, owing to the excellent chemistry of the main characters and the intriguing story. Some may argue that Stay With Me is more of a bromance, but we can't deny that Wu Bi and Su Yu do an excellent job of convincing us that they are more than stepbrothers. There are subtle hints that Wu Bi and Su Yu have a deeper connection than typical step-brothers, but given China's censorship, we can't risk the series being cancelled or even banned globally. It's still a high-school drama, but because we have a diverse culture and story, the series appears unique to me. #2. Tin & Gun (My School President)

 

    Fourth and Gemini are more powerful than ever because to their dramas such as My School President and Moonlight Chicken. I've been in love with this pair since the fake trailer of My School President in 2021, thus I was astonished when they exceeded my expectations for the aforementioned drama. Their roles in My School President may have been a little infantile owing to their young age, but Fourth and Gemini demonstrated in Moonlight Chicken that they can do much better. The deep connection they had in both shows helped me understand their characters even better, and it made their moments look so real. #3. Pisaeng & Kawi (Be My Favorite)

 

    Because of how unlikeable Kawi is in this series, including this BL pair on this list may raise some eyebrows among fans. Some people find his character unpleasant and aggravating because of his acts in the drama, but I genuinely adore him because of his flaws. Even with a hint of fantasy in the narrative, this made the series more relatable. On the other hand, I never anticipated Gawin and Krist to be a good acting team, but their performances demonstrated that they are. Their connection is more comedic, yet their personalities are still credible at emotional times. Be My Favorite is available on YouTube.

#4. Lee Wan & Shin Ki Tae (Our Dating Sim)

 

    Our Dating Sim is one of my favorite Korean BL shows that aired in 2023, and I can't tell you how much I missed their on-screen chemistry. The drama's light story complemented their heavenly aesthetics, which was an added bonus to their sizzling relationship. Their natural compatibility shows through as their personalities compliment one other flawlessly, resulting in a believable and joyful bond. #5. Gun & Cher (A Boss And A Babe)

 

    A Boss and a Babe may not be on par with other of these BL series in terms of story and storyline, but it does have one of the greatest on-screen couples in a BL drama. Force and Book's connection is effortless and natural, and I'm looking forward to their forthcoming August 12 show, Only Friends. To be honest, the first few episodes of A Boss and A Babe were fairly wonderful, but it became less intriguing near the end. That doesn't change the fact that Force and Book have a fantastic connection, but they truly need a terrific series to display it effectively. A Boss and a Babe is available on YouTube.

#6. Jae Won & Ji Hyun (The Eighth Sense)

 

    If Our Dating Sim focuses on the good aspects of their relationship, Jae Won & Ji Hyun takes a more realistic approach rather than a pleasant and light-hearted story. Some fans shed a lot of tears during their emotional situations, which is an indicator of their undying love for one other. The show began well and gradually grew on me as their story began to reveal their affections for each other. Heaven has wonderfully paired Jae Won with Ji Hyun, and I want to see more of them. #7. Yutaka & Minoru (Our Dining Table)

 

    When I think about this pair, I remember their pure and sweet love story. The series may not have communicated the characters' emotions until later episodes, but it was clear as the show proceeded. When you see this drama, you'll understand why Our Dining Table is one of the finest BL of 2023. Thane was an excellent addition to the characters, adding a new dimension to the entire plot. It's nice to watch a slice of life series every now and then that reminds us to appreciate the simple things in life. GaGaOOLala has a video of our Dining Table.

#8. Tinn & Charn (Laws of Attraction)

 

    Tinn and Charn's love sequences have yet to be seen in Laws of Attraction, but their on-screen connection has certainly impacted us. Tinn and Charn's natural connection and acting prowess are highlighted by their tension whenever they have something to talk about. We've seen Charn's strong and powerful character via his nasty smirks in three episodes, but I feel his sensitive nature will surface once he begins to reclaim his sense of justice. Tinn and Charn's love story is unlike any other in this blog, and I believe it will bloom as the series goes while also revealing their characters' secrets.
